SAT VOCAB POST

Posted by: tiffanyymitchell on: October 2, 2009

Being siblings, it wasn’t difficult for Tiffanyy and Gina to get extremely exasperated with each other. Being together almost every minute of the day could really get annoying. Often, when they were together, they spent the majority of their time assailing or deriding each other, just for the fun of it. However, there were times when one person would take it too far and someone would end up hurt. Neither of them were benevolent to each other because that wouldn’t of been fun nor entertaining. If you were to juxtapose the two and scrutinize their personalities, you’d come to the conclusion that Gina was more of a histrionic type who liked to exaggerate and Tiffanyy was more of a volatile type who could blow up any minute. However, one cannot corroborate that the two were discordant. Although they were very different and argued most of the time, they did have some idyllic and serene moments and they very much enjoyed the vacuous, thoughtless fun they would have together. One could even describe their good pleasant moments as incandescent, for the warmth of their bond could heat up an entire room. Tiffanyy was the older of the two, and although she couldn’t be considered a sage, she had learned much through her years. She wasn’t always decorous, but she always tried to be a didactic for her younger sister; “more of a do as I say, not what I do” type of relationship. It was obvious to Tiffanyy that Gina was trying to expedite her growth, something that Tiffanyy did not want! She couldn’t handle her little sister growing up to fast. These days all she heard about were her amorous feelings for certain boys. All she needed was for Gina to approach her with a distended belly and saying that it wasn’t her fault she was so fecund!
